Greetings 2014 Paws & Purrs Alumni!  We wanted to reach out to let you know that this year’s Paws & Purrs 5K Run & Fun Walk is scheduled for Sunday, September 13^th , 9am at Mingo Creek County Park – same location as last year!

This year we have twice as many vendors and some awesome raffle prizes, including a Family 4 pack of passes to Walt Disney World!

Just head to Active.com to register for this year’s run to benefit the dogs and cats at the shelter.  Cost remains the same – $25 for runners, $20 for walkers.  All participants receive a t-shirt and a goodie bag full of coupons, giveaways, and flyers.  Register by August 28^th to assure your t-shirt size.

For the Fun Walk, you can either walk the 5K course or the shorter 1 mile course.  Participants are encouraged to bring their social pets for the walk (and experienced dog runners for the run!).  We’ll have games and prizes again for the pets – including a costume conest!
